Interview with Elyssa Wiecek - Head of Research & Insights

1. Can you briefly introduce yourself and your role?

Hi, I'm Elyssa! I'm Head of Research and Insights. I work across program evaluation, analytics, and research, helping show the value of our programs and what's driving outcomes for patients. I also lead our publication work, sharing what we've learned with the wider health community.

2. What part of your work are you most proud of?

I'm really proud of a recent paper we published in Frontiers in Digital Health on how older adults engage with the Perx program. Older adults are usually an afterthought in digital health, so it was great to put a spotlight on this cohort and show they were using Perx in genuinely interesting ways to achieve high adherence and engagement. It's a good example of how research can change how we think about helping people.

 3. What are you most excited about as Perx and Navigator come together?

The chance to use Navigator's data in new ways, whether that's understanding what works, finding patterns in how patients engage, or predicting who might need more support. There's a lot of opportunity in data that hasn't been explored this way before, and I'm looking forward to getting into it.
