Desanka

Mental Health Professional

I was drawn to Navigator Group because I wanted to use my counselling background in a role that genuinely supports people’s wellbeing and recovery. After a short time working as a case manager for an insurer, I knew I wanted to be on the other side — hearing clients’ stories firsthand and making a real difference. When I saw the role advertised, it immediately felt right. With Navigator’s connection to the insurer I’d previously worked for, it honestly felt like a sign I was meant to be here.

From day one, I felt incredibly supported. More than a year later, that hasn’t changed. Working at Navigator is collaborative, encouraging, and empowering. I’ve been given the guidance and confidence to grow professionally, while always feeling backed by my team. There’s a genuine sense of care and connection that makes coming to work feel meaningful.

In my role, I feel proud knowing I contribute to the wider Navigator Group by making a real difference in injured people’s lives — often simply by being their sounding board during a challenging time. The feedback I’ve received from clients, colleagues, and leadership has reinforced that sense of purpose. Navigator truly feels like a family; there’s no hierarchy, just equal respect, recognition, and support.

I would absolutely recommend Navigator to anyone looking for a rewarding career. The work-life balance, competitive pay, bonuses, and genuine focus on meaningful outcomes make it a fantastic place to work. I’m proud to be part of the Navigator team and would encourage anyone seeking a supportive and fulfilling role to apply.

Alana

Team Leader and Psychologist

I was attracted to Navigator Group because of its clear commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and supporting their recovery journeys. The opportunity to grow professionally as a psychologist, collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams, and work in an organisation grounded in strong healthcare values really stood out to me. Navigator’s genuine focus on empowering both clients and clinicians made it feel like a place where I could do purposeful work and continue to develop my career.

Working at Navigator feels supportive, collaborative, and deeply purpose-driven. From the outset, it’s clear that ideas are welcomed, learning is continuous, and innovation is encouraged. There’s a shared commitment to delivering the best possible care, and colleagues genuinely care — about their work, about one another, and about the people we support. That sense of shared purpose makes Navigator a very motivating place to work.

In my role as a Team Leader and Psychologist, I feel I make a meaningful contribution to Navigator’s values-based approach to healthcare. I support clients directly in their recovery while also guiding and developing a growing team of mental health clinicians, helping them build confidence and expand their skills across our services. I’m also actively involved in the broader organisation through cultural days, internal committees, and meaningful projects, contributing to continuous improvement and the ongoing growth of the business. Being able to shape practice, promote wellbeing, and foster a positive, supportive team culture allows me to see the real and lasting impact of my work across Navigator.

I would absolutely recommend Navigator Group to anyone seeking meaningful work in a supportive, values-driven organisation. It’s a place where you can make a genuine difference in people’s recovery and wellbeing, work alongside dedicated and caring colleagues, and grow your career in a positive, collaborative environment.

Kara

Mental Health Professional

I started working at Navigator Group ten years ago, when I was nineteen, after being encouraged by a colleague who spoke highly of the organisation. From the beginning, Navigator provided a space where I could grow, build a career, and develop my skills. I initially worked in reception and administrative roles before committing five years to study and qualify as a counsellor. Throughout that journey, Navigator supported my career pathway, including allowing me to complete my counselling placement within the organisation — something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Working at Navigator truly feels like being part of a community. Starting a new job can be overwhelming, but at Navigator people are open, warm, and genuinely welcoming. It’s a place where you feel comfortable quickly and are able to build real, lasting connections with colleagues.

In my current role as a counsellor, I feel proud of the contribution I make to the wider Navigator Group. Alongside my clinical work, I also lead the social committee, where I organise company social events, activities, and produce the internal company newsletter. This role allows me to contribute to team culture and connection, which is something Navigator genuinely values.

I would absolutely recommend applying for a role at Navigator Group. It’s a place where you can build meaningful relationships, develop your skills, and create a fulfilling and long-term career in a supportive environment.
