ABOUT NSP
You don’t have to navigate recovery alone.
After an injury, it's completely normal to feel anxious, frustrated, or unsure about what happens next. The claims process can feel confusing. You might be worried about returning to work, or just feeling overwhelmed by everything that's changed.
The Navigator Support Program connects you with a dedicated counsellor, experience in insurance claims, who gets to know your situation and stays with you throughout your recovery. Someone to check in with, talk things through, and help you feel more in control — by phone, at a time that suits you.
This isn't therapy in a clinical sense, it's regular, supportive conversations designed to help you feel heard, informed, and confident as you move through recovery.

Your referral means we'll reach out to introduce you to your dedicated counsellor and arrange a time for your first call. You’ll have the chance to ask questions before you agree.

Regular check-ins
You'll have ongoing phone conversations at a frequency that works for you — helping you stay on track, talk through concerns, and build confidence

You’ll work with a dedicated health professional who checks in with you regularly, listens to what you’re going through, and helps you navigate recovery, step by step.

You’ll have regular phone check-ins

If needed, we can connect you with extra support like doctors or psychologists

All Navigators are counsellors who have extensive experience and the ability to provide trusted support when required and agreed, by you. We are duty-bound to protect the nature of conversations with you ensuring you get the best outcome during your recovery.
Many people we talk with have mentioned Navigator’s service has been really useful when they have felt alone, or afraid (especially whilst waiting for surgery). We find people sometimes are reluctant to ask for help but once we build that relationship with you, we work together to overcome any barriers to reach your full recovery.

You were identified as eligible for the Navigator Support Program by your insurer. NSP is completed independent from your insurer and your conversations with NSP will not be shared.
