We are here to help you feel heard and supported after a work-related injury or event that has affected your mental health. Your current treating providers (GP, physio, etc.) continue as normal. Your psychologist works alongside them as an added benefit, at no cost to you.

People are referred to psychology when psychological support may be helpful as part of their recovery. This can include experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, sleep issues, pain-related distress, or difficulty coping following an injury or work-related event.

No, accessing psychology with Navigator Group will not impact on your claim or weekly payments. Our purpose is to help you in your recovery.

Treatment involves structured therapy sessions with a psychologist. Therapy is tailored to your needs and may include evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, or other psychological therapies designed to support recovery and improve coping.

No, you will have your sessions via video or phone appointments, allowing access regardless of location.

Yes. Your information and discussions are kept confidential and managed in line with privacy laws. Information is only shared where appropriate and relevant to support your care and recovery.

There is no cost to you – Navigator Group works with employers and insurers to fund support for you during this time.

No. Participation is completely your choice. You can decide whether or not to take part, and you can stop at any time.

You only need to see one psychologist at a time. If you would prefer to stay with your current psychologist, then there is no need to see us for psychology.
